I wanted to like it more, but it really does have a hard time on hills. It gets the job done on flat roads, so I can live with it, but the battery drains quickly once you start climbing. Not a dealbreaker for me, just something I’ve had to accept.

The bike works fine for getting around, and I’ve had a decent time using it so far. But a few of the parts don’t feel that sturdy, like they might wear out sooner than I’d hoped. It’s not bad, just... I’m not totally sure how well it’ll hold up long term.

I reached out to Engwe about an issue with my battery, the whole support experience was disappointing. The replies were slow and felt like copy-and-paste responses. They kept asking me the same questions even though I had already answered them, so it really seemed like nobody was actually reading what I wrote. I was basically left in the dark the whole time with no real update or solution. Super frustrating.

The bike showed up packed well, and luckily nothing was missing, so that part was a relief.

Putting it together wasn’t too hard and took me around 45 minutes taking my time. The manual was decent, but a few parts were more confusing than they needed to be, which was a bit disappointing. I also had to mess with the brakes afterward to get them right.
Overall it’s not bad, and I’m glad the assembly was mostly simple, but I expected the instructions to be clearer. I’d still give it 4 stars, just not a perfect experience...

I placed my order the other night after dinner, and overall it went through okay. The checkout itself worked, but the shipping info was a bit confusing and made me stop for a minute to figure out what was actually happening. Not a huge problem, but it wasn’t as smooth as I expected.

I’ve been using it on my rides and the battery has held up better than I expected. No complaints from me, I’m happy with it

I bought an ENGWE bike from engwe.com, and after only a few rides, the brakes have been really disappointing. They squeak loudly, and the stopping distance feels “way too long” even when I’m just riding at a normal speed.

I tried adjusting them myself, but they still don’t feel right, i don’t feel comfortable taking it into traffic now. Support only sent over some basic tips, but there wasn’t any real fix, which is frustrating

Tires feel good so far. Got decent grip in the rain and the ride’s been smooth, so yeah, no complaints yet

The tracking on my order barely updated at all, so I had no real idea where the bike was or when it would arrive. It ended up showing up late, which was frustrating. I also kept contacting support and just got stuck in a loop of the same vague responses every time, with no actual update or helpful info

The suspension feels really nice so far. Bumps that used to feel rough are much softer now, that extra jolting was totally preventable with a better setup like this

I wanted to like this, but it just looks really bulky in person and not as nice as I expected. If you’re hoping for something sleek or cute, I’d save your time and look for another option

I’ve had my Engwe bike for a few weeks now, and the motor has been really solid so far. It pulls well on hills and feels quick enough for the kind of riding I do. The only thing is it can get a bit loud when I’m pushing it hard, but maybe that’s just normal. Overall, I’m really happy with the power, just not totally perfect, so I’d give it 4 stars...

I was really expecting more from my Engwe bike, but the range is nowhere close to what they claim. I’m barely getting 25 miles, even using low assist, and it’s not like I’m hauling a ton of weight or riding up mountains, my routes are flat. The battery just drops way faster than it should. Disappointing for something that’s supposed to be useful for daily riding, but hey, I guess the advertised range is more of a fun little suggestion

I had an issue after my purchase, but the after-sales team never got back to me. I was expecting some kind of follow-up, but yeah, nothing...

I needed a replacement brake part for my Engwe bike, i was just glad they actually had it available on the site. It took me a little while to figure out which one was the right fit, but customer service helped me out, so that made things easier.
Shipping wasn’t exactly fast, but it showed up in good condition and the part fit fine. I do think the parts pages could use more details, though, because it would save a bit of back-and-forth

My bike battery started acting up after a few months, so I got in touch with Engwe support. They asked for some photos and my order details, then ended up sending me a replacement under warranty. It wasn't exactly quick, and the emails weren't never lightning fast, but to be fair, they did sort it out in the end.

The bike itself rides fine, so no big complaints there. But the folding part has been hit or miss for me. The latch feels stiff, and it takes more messing around than I expected to get it folded up. If you only need to fold it once in a while, it might not be a big deal, but doing it every day would get old fast. Maybe it loosens up over time, but right now I’m not super impressed.

I’m not exactly a bike expert, and I haven’t had a ton of free time to really put it through everything yet, but so far I’m happy with it. The bike feels well put together, and the brakes, frame, and battery all seem decent for the price. Nothing feels loose, rattly, or cheap, which was my main concern. Overall, I’d say the parts are good for the money...

The lights seem bright enough, so I’d assume they’re fine for normal rides. The brakes, though, felt a little uncertain right away, which made me think the safety side could definitely be better.

Overall, the display on my ENGWE bike does the job and is easy to read in regular light. It can be a little harder to see when the sun is really bright, but it’s not a dealbreaker. The controls work fine for the most part, though they feel a bit basic and took me some time to get used to. Every now and then the buttons don’t respond as quickly as I’d like, but it’s nothing too frustrating. I just wish it felt a little smoother for everyday use.
